INTRODUCTION

Gin Rummy is an ageless card game that requires skill and tactics. Players must organize their hand into sets (cards of the same rank) and runs (consecutive cards of the same suit) while minimizing the number of "deadwood" cards that cannot be grouped. The game concludes when a player reaches the designated score, usually 100 points, turning it into a race to outwit opponents and emerge victorious.


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Objective: Reduce the amount of "deadwood" in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Collections of cards with identical ranks (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Sequences of cards of matching suits (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • The opponent's remaining deadwood points are added to your score.
  • Knock or "go gin" (no deadwood) for maximum points.
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or surpass 100 points wins the game.
  • Be careful not to let your opponent reach 100 points first!
